Hi,
I have installed and configured the Nightly Agent Build.
The error of this issue does not (yet?) occur, i.e. the spaces in the path are not critical at the moment.
The agent installation still requires that files are copied into GF3 lib and classes directories.
With all steps taken, the sample application does not run.
I remember that before this agent build, I could see the login screen of the example application. Not this time.
I get the notorious errors:
com.sun.identity.agents.arch.AgentException: Fetching Agent configuration properties failed
and then after reload:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class com.sun.identity.agents.filter.AmFilterManager
The agent is polling the server successfully as can be seen in the debug log.
Successful configuration on GF3 seems to be too hard to do. I have seen numerous documents on the web, most of them recommend re-installation and matching of passwords. I can't find a single success story from users who seeked help in the forums.
With full access to both servers, there must be a systematic approach.
Such as dumping configurations on both ends and compare them or them through a checker. Or initiate a test communication. Or at a check list. I don't have any of that.
How can I reach the necessary steps to verify that this bug is actually resolved?
I will attach all information I could find as a zip file.
