Server logs This chapter briefly describes server logging. For audit information, see the chapter on Using Audit Logs. You can configure logging by editing the openidm/conf/logging.properties file in OpenIDM. The default configuration writes log messages in simple format to openidm/logs/openidm*.log files , rotating files when the size reaches 5 MB, and retaining up to 5 files. Also by default, OpenIDM writes all system and custom log messages to the files. You can update the configuration to attach loggers to individual packages, setting the log level to using the following values.
